Senior Accountant

To oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, and support management in financial planning and decision-making. Responsibilities • Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. • Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, budgets, and overall financial performance. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely completion. • Review and approve invoices, payment vouchers, journal entries, and other financial documents in accordance with established approval procedures. • Ensure timely processing of supplier payments and effective monitoring of customer collections. • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper financial documentation, approvals, and compliance with company procedures. • Lead and support the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. • Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the preparation of financial records and supporting documentation for audits. • Review and strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to improve efficiency and minimize financial risks. • Supervise, guide, and develop the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely completion of assigned responsibilities. • Provide financial analysis, reports, and recommendations to support management in business planning and decision-making. • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage. • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities. • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles. • Proficiency in accounting, financial reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. • Good understanding of internal controls, financial compliance, and applicable accounting standards. • Strong team management, coordination, and supervisory skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
