Senior Accountant & Audit

StoneGate Corporate Services is a Dubai-based corporate service provider supporting entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals with company formations, corporate administration, accounting, tax compliance and private client services. We are expanding our Accounting & Tax team and are looking for a reliable, hands-on Accountant to manage the bookkeeping and accounting of our client portfolio. The role You will join our Dubai office full time and take ownership of the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients across free zone, mainland and offshore entities. You will work closely with our tax specialists and be a dependable point of contact for clients and external auditors. Key responsibilities • Prepare and maintain complete, accurate bookkeeping for multiple client companies • Record and reconcile transactions, bank accounts, payables and receivables • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS • Use accounting software to manage client books and reporting • Liaise with external auditors, prepare audit schedules and respond to queries • Support VAT and Corporate Tax workings in coordination with the tax team • Meet client reporting deadlines and keep records organised and audit-ready • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues on accounting matters Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent, whether completed or in progress) is a plus • Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE gained within an accounting firm, audit firm or corporate service provider • Experience in a corporate service provider, audit firm or accounting firm • Solid knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting practices, including VAT • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally or similar) and advanced Excel • Strong English, written and spoken, with a professional and well-spoken communication style • Able to join within 1 month • Based in Dubai Nice to have • Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously • Additional languages (Arabic) What we offer • Full-time permanent position in a growing, specialist firm • Exposure to a diverse client base and varied structures • Central office on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai • Competitive package based on experience
