Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in managing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity solutions, with a strong focus on Kaspersky Endpoint Security and Kaspersky Security Center. The candidate will be responsible for managing endpoint security infrastructure, ensuring enterprise-wide protection coverage, monitoring security threats, and maintaining the effectiveness of deployed cybersecurity controls. Key Responsibilities • Implement, configure, manage, and maintain enterprise endpoint security solutions. • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot security agents across Windows and Linux environments. • Configure and optimize security policies, including malware protection, application control, and device control. • Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and support incident response activities. • Ensure endpoint security coverage, compliance, and operational effectiveness. • Perform security solution upgrades, updates, integrations, and regular health checks. • Integrate cybersecurity solutions with Active Directory, SIEM, and other enterprise platforms. • Collaborate with IT, SOC, and vendors to resolve security issues and improve protection capabilities. • Prepare technical documentation, security reports, and operational procedures. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering, endpoint security administration, or related technical security roles. • Practical experience administering and supporting endpoint security solutions in enterprise environments. Technical Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Kaspersky Security Center (KSC) and Kaspersky Endpoint Security (KES). • Experience with the deployment, integration, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of endpoint security solutions. • Knowledge of antivirus, anti-malware, endpoint protection, and threat prevention technologies. • Experience managing endpoint security policies, scheduled scanning, signature updates, and security exclusions. • Ability to troubleshoot security agent installation, communication, performance, and connectivity issues. • Good knowledge of Windows Server, Windows endpoints, Linux, and Active Directory. • Understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, and enterprise infrastructure. • Experience monitoring security events, analyzing logs, and investigating endpoint security alerts. • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint hardening, and security configuration management. Preferred Technical Skills • Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions. • Knowledge of other enterprise endpoint security technologies, such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, or equivalent solutions. • Experience integrating endpoint security platforms with SIEM and SOC monitoring systems. • Knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, and endpoint compliance. • Experience with PowerShell, scripting, and automation. • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NCA ECC, NIST, and ISO 27001. Preferred Certifications • Kaspersky Certified Professional or relevant Kaspersky technical certifications. • Vendor-specific certifications in endpoint protection, EDR, XDR, or enterprise security solutions. • CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Certifications, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications are considered an advantage.
