Safety Officer - Facade construction

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Safety Officer with a strong background in façade construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at project sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Saudi regulations. Key Responsibilities • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at façade construction sites. • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. • Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures. • Ensure safe working practices during façade installation, glazing, cladding, and work-at-height activities. • Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety requirements. • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular safety awareness sessions. • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports. • Ensure scaffolding, lifting operations, access equipment, and working platforms are used safely. • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors on all HSE-related matters. • Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, and incident reports. Qualifications & Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry. • Mandatory experience in façade construction projects. • Good knowledge of façade installation, glazing, aluminium cladding, and work-at-height safety requirements. • Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent is preferred. • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and construction safety standards. • Good communication and reporting skills. • Must be willing to work and relocate to project sites anywhere in Saudi Arabia.
