Accounts - Supervisor

Position: Accounts Supervisor Industry: Construction / Engineering Experience: 3–5 Years Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting and finance activities. • Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records. • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions. • Review and process supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents. • Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments. • Prepare and review monthly closing activities and financial reports. • Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances. • Monitor project-wise expenses, costs, and budgets. • Coordinate with project/site teams regarding cost allocation, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents. • Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and approvals. • Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring. • Support preparation of cash-flow statements and payment forecasts. • Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records. • Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial information. • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements. • Coordinate with procurement, commercial, HR, and project teams for finance-related matters. • Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution. • Prepare MIS and other financial reports as required by management. • Supervise junior accounting staff and allocate daily accounting tasks.

3–5 years experience in accounting/finance, experience supervising junior staff, experience in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, cost control and budgeting, familiarity with financial reporting and audits, ability to coordinate with multiple departments including procurement, HR, and site teams, understanding of statutory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
