About the role

Role Purpose • The Steel Division has significant commercial knowledge, technical expertise, customer relationships, landmark project references (domestically and internationally) and product capabilities across its Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Technical teams. • The role of Sr. Manager Marketing Communications within the Steel Commercial team is to bridge commercial priorities with customer engagements and communications execution. It ensures that the division’s products, technical capabilities, customer successes and market achievements are consistently converted into compelling commercial assets and programmes. • The role is to more systematically translate these assets into customer-facing marketing communications, commercial content and engagement programmes that strengthen customer relationships, support Sales effectiveness, enhance customer experience, contribute to commercial growth and build strong brand equity as a steel solution provider. • The position will serve as the principal interface between the Steel commercial team and Corporate Communications. Accountabilities & Activities 1. Strategy & Priorities • Set and deliver an annual marketing communications plan with the Chief Commercial Officer and Sales leadership. The plan includes conferences, seminars, specialized exhibitions, customer events, speaking opportunities, media coverage and interviews. Focus resources on strategic customers, products, sectors and markets, with clear objectives and budgets. 2. Product and Solution Positioning • Drive product and solution communications, including positioning, value propositions, launch communications, technical-commercial content and go-to-market support. • Develop differentiated customer value propositions and go-to-market communications for priority products and applications. Work with Technical, Sustainability and Sales to substantiate claims and support adoption. 3. Sales & Customer Engagement • Lead customer-facing marketing communications and engagement programmes for strategic accounts, supporting customer acquisition, retention, cross-selling and relationship development. • Lead customer insight and Voice of Customer initiatives to identify needs, perceptions and engagement opportunities, and translate them into actionable recommendations. • Equip Sales with practical presentations, technical-commercial literature, sector materials and tailored account content. Design targeted customer programmes and digital communications, using CRM data and customer feedback to improve relevance and experience. 4. Project References & Advocacy • Build a disciplined programme to capture landmark projects, customer outcomes, testimonials and case studies. Secure customer permissions and turn these assets into credible evidence for bids, meetings and market engagement. • Enable Sales and Business Development with effective customer-facing tools, presentations, product literature, project references, sector-specific content and commercial messaging. 5. Made & Fabricated in the UAE Proposition • Develop a coherent industrial proposition that brings together UAE steelmaking, local fabrication, engineering, skilled manpower, certifications, proximity to major projects and proven references. Work with fabricators, relevant UAE authorities and overseas missions to present these capabilities to international project owners and EPCs early in project development. 6. Industry Engagement • Select and execute conferences, exhibitions, customer forums and speaking opportunities according to commercial priorities. Define the audience, desired outcome and follow-up for each activity, rather than treating visibility as an end in itself. 7. Safety, Quality & Environment • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls within the Commercial division. This supports employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality services and a responsible environmental attitude. 8.
