Accountant - Gold & Diamond Jewelry

We are looking for an experienced ACCOUNTANT with strong UAE experience in the Gold, Diamond & Jewelry industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in gold accounting, jewelry manufacturing, gold melting, inventory reconciliation, costing, and UAE VAT compliance. 📌 Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end accounting functions – AP, AR & General Ledger * Handle gold purchase and payment entries for 22K, 18K & 24K gold * Maintain accurate accounting records for gold, diamonds and finished jewelry * Perform regular physical vs. system stock reconciliation * Handle gold melting, manufacturing and production accounting * Monitor gold consumption, wastage, melting loss and production variances * Handle gold rate fluctuations and costing adjustments * Ensure proper valuation based on gold purity/karat and diamond grading * Maintain accurate raw material, WIP and finished goods records * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and FTA requirements * Assist with VAT return preparation and supporting documentation * Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements * Maintain proper documentation for suppliers, imports, local purchases and manufacturing transactions 🎯 Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * Minimum 3 years UAE experience in Gold & Diamond / Jewelry industry – Mandatory * Strong practical knowledge of gold pricing, karat calculations and diamond valuation * Hands-on experience in gold manufacturing and melting is highly preferred * Experience with bullion trading and jewelry production will be an advantage * Strong understanding of gold inventory, costing, wastage and manufacturing processes * Good knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA compliance * Experience with accounting/ERP systems * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail, wholesale and manufacturing environment ⭐ Preferred Candidate Candidates with practical experience in: Gold Melting | Jewelry Manufacturing | Bullion Trading | Gold Stock Reconciliation | Gold Costing | Production Accounting | UAE VAT | Suntech Software 💻 Experience with Suntech software/ERP will be highly preferred. 🚨 Immediate Joiner is highly preferred. 📍 Location: DUBAI 📩 How to Apply: Send your updated CV via WhatsApp: +971 55 870 4129 Subject: Accountant – Gold & Diamond
