Sr. Data Architect Specialist

Are you an experienced Data Architect with expertise in enterprise data platforms, data governance, and cloud-based data solutions? We are looking for a Sr. Data Architect Specialist to define and lead the enterprise data architecture, ensuring data is trusted, governed, integrated, and readily available to support analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design and define the target enterprise data architecture, including data platforms, data models, and integration patterns across lakehouse and data warehouse environments. • Establish enterprise data standards, master data management practices, metadata management frameworks, and data quality rules. • Align data architecture with SAP, Operational Technology (OT) historian systems, and cloud-based data sources. • Collaborate with data governance and cybersecurity teams to establish data classification, retention, and access control requirements. • Review data architecture and solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives. • Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to data engineering teams. • Support the development of scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms for analytics and AI. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data architecture, enterprise data management, or data engineering. • Certifications: Azure Data Engineer or Microsoft Fabric certification. • Preferred: TOGAF or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP). • Strong knowledge of enterprise data modelling, data integration, and data architecture principles. • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Microsoft Purview, and SQL. • Experience integrating and managing SAP data within enterprise data platforms. • Knowledge of Oil & Gas (O&G) data environments, including PI System / OT historian and ERP data, is preferred. • Strong analytical, architectural design, and stakeholder management skills.
