Technical Director – Contamination Control

About Saudi BioClean Saudi BioClean is a contamination-control and environmental hygiene company in its establishment phase in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We are building specialist services for healthcare environments: GxP-aligned cleaning and decontamination of critical areas, environmental monitoring and verification, and technical training. The role We are looking for an experienced GxP professional to build our technical foundation and lead our technical function. This is a founding role: there is no existing department to manage. You will define how a specialist operation works from day one. What you will do • Write the procedures that govern cleaning, disinfection and decontamination of critical areas • Design the environmental monitoring and verification approach, working with accredited laboratories • Build the training and competency framework for our technical team • Lead the first technical engagements on site once services launch • Help recruit and develop the technical team What we are looking for • 8+ years in sterility assurance, contamination control, environmental monitoring or cleanroom operations • Hands-on experience in GMP or GxP-regulated environments: pharmaceutical, biotech, cell and gene therapy, medical devices or hospital sterile services • A track record of writing SOPs and training others • Experience supporting regulatory inspections or audits (e.g. FDA, EMA, Health Canada, SFDA) • Willingness to be based in Jeddah Advantages • Experience with EU GMP Annex 1 and contamination control strategies • Healthcare or hospital infection-prevention experience • Arabic language Please note • Saudi BioClean is a founder-led startup in its establishment phase.
