About the role
About the Role Every merchant we sign is revenue waiting to happen, but only once they're live and transacting. You'll own that conversion: taking a merchant from sign-up to approval, to first payment, to actively transacting by day 30, and winning back those who stalled or went quiet. You'll own the metrics that decide whether Fortis acquisition turns into revenue, working closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Sales and our acquiring partners. What You'll Do Onboarding & go-live • Own the onboarding funnel across channels - application flows, document collection, eKYB and status visibility • Design and automate approval with Compliance and our partners so standard merchants go live in hours, not days • Streamline terminal assignment, setup and the path to first transaction First 30 days • Define what an “activated merchant” means and build the journey to get there • Build guided setup, in-product education and milestone-triggered nudges • Hand healthy merchants to the Payments and Retention PM at day 30 with clear handoff criteria Reactivation • Build win-back flows for approved-but-never-transacted, mid-onboarding drop-off and dormant merchants • Diagnose why merchants go dormant and fix root causes in the onboarding experience Data & delivery • Own funnel and cohort dashboards; run experiments and prioritise with evidence • Translate regulatory and acquirer requirements into clear, buildable specs • Run discovery-to-launch with Engineering and Design What You'll Bring Must have • 3–5+ years in product management, ideally in payments, fintech, banking or B2B SaaS • Hands-on ownership of an onboarding, activation or growth funnel with measurable results • Working knowledge of merchant KYB/KYC, acquiring, or PSP / payment facilitator models • Strong analytical skills - funnels, cohorts, experiments; SQL a plus • Clear communicator with engineers, Compliance, partners and leadership Nice to have • UAE/GCC market experience or exposure to CBUAE-regulated products • Lifecycle/CRM or growth experience (activation nudges, win-back campaigns) • Familiarity with eKYB/OCR vendors, workflow or case-management tools Conditions As part of our recruitment process, we process candidate personal data for recruitment and selection purposes. This may include recording or transcription of interviews, AI-assisted summarisation of interview notes, and storage of candidate information in our applicant tracking system. These tools support our recruitment team and do not make final hiring decisions without human review. We retain candidate information only for as long as necessary for the relevant recruitment process, unless you separately agree that we may keep your details for future opportunities. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with this notice.
