Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the UAE market. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating contractors and consultants, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Key Responsibilities • Plan, manage, and supervise all construction activities on site from mobilization to project handover. • Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved within the agreed timeline. • Manage project budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities to reduce delays and avoidable expenses. • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Review drawings, specifications, method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals. • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, UAE authority requirements, and company quality standards. • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and ensure a safe working environment at all times. • Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and quality checks. • Prepare progress reports, daily/weekly site reports, and updates for management and clients. • Manage manpower, equipment, and material requirements to support project progress. • Resolve site issues, technical queries, and conflicts between stakeholders in a timely manner. • Support procurement and commercial teams with material approvals, variations, and cost-related matters. • Ensure proper documentation, records, and handover requirements are maintained throughout the project. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of proven construction experience in the UAE. • Strong background in managing construction sites, contractors, and project teams. • Solid knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority approvals, and local regulations. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. • Strong knowledge of project planning, quality control, cost control, and HSE requirements. • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, or AutoCAD is an advantage. • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
