Senior Interior Designer IDdesign Oman | Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Join a Leading Premium Furniture & Home Interiors Brand IDdesign Oman is seeking a highly creative, experienced, and commercially driven Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Muscat. We are looking for a passionate design professional with a strong understanding of modern and contemporary style furniture, luxury interiors, and space planning. The ideal candidate should be capable of translating customer requirements into inspiring interior solutions while contributing to showroom sales and business growth. Key Responsibilities Interior Design & Client Consultation • Provide professional interior design consultations to residential, commercial, and high-end clients. • Develop complete interior design concepts, including furniture layouts, colour schemes, material selections, lighting, and accessories. • Prepare mood boards, 2D layouts, 3D visualisations, and professional design presentations. • Recommend furniture, upholstery, lighting, rugs, and decorative accessories from IDdesign collections. • Conduct site visits, take measurements, and understand client requirements. • Handle interior design projects from initial consultation through final execution and installation. Sales & Business Development • Work closely with the showroom sales team to convert design consultations into confirmed sales. • Develop customised furniture and interior solutions within clients' budgets. • Build strong relationships with architects, interior consultants, property developers, and corporate clients. • Identify and develop residential, hospitality, and commercial project opportunities. • Support achievement of showroom sales targets through design-led selling and effective client follow-up. Showroom Styling & Visual Merchandising • Create inspiring furniture displays and lifestyle settings within the showroom. • Regularly refresh showroom layouts in line with new collections and international interior design trends. • Ensure product displays reflect IDdesign's premium positioning and Scandinavian design identity. • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Candidate Requirements • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5–7 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in premium furniture retail or luxury residential interiors. • Proven experience in client consultations, furniture selection, space planning, and project execution. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or equivalent design software. • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar presentation tools is an advantage. • Strong understanding of contemporary furniture, European design trends, materials, fabrics, and finishes. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Commercial awareness and the ability to support sales conversion. • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage. • Previous experience in Oman or the GCC is preferred. • A strong professional design portfolio is mandatory.
