Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost planning, budgeting, and financial control for construction, fit-out, and ongoing facility enhancement projects at Padel LK. This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project costs against budgets, and producing regular cost reports for management and stakeholders. The role will also involve advising on procurement strategies, evaluating contractor and supplier quotations, supporting contract administration, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards. Qualifications • Demonstrated expertise in cost planning and cost management, including developing budgets, forecasts, and financial frameworks for construction and facility projects. • Strong skills in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to track expenditures, manage variances, and provide clear, timely financial updates to leadership. • Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing BOQ and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design, scope, and contract requirements. • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field, with experience in sports, leisure, or commercial facilities considered an advantage. • Familiarity with standard forms of contract and procurement processes, and competence with quantity surveying software and MS Office tools. • Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
