Warehouse Operations Manager

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in managing warehouse operations with a particular focus on retail store distribution and e-commerce/marketplace order fulfilment Role • Strategically manage the daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient inventory control, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and distribution. • Oversee the inbound operations from receiving shipments and quality verification through to GRN completion and put away. • Take full ownership of order fulfilment across all business channels, including retail stores, e-commerce, marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, etc.), wholesale and export customers. • Ensure daily retail store replenishment orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately on time to stores across multiple locations within the UAE. • Oversee and prioritize e-commerce and marketplace order fulfilment to ensure all customer orders meet agreed SLAs and delivery timelines. • Plan and optimize warehouse workflows to maximize productivity, order accuracy and fulfilment speed across all sales channels. • Manage daily dispatch operations using the company's fleet as well as courier and third party logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries. • Monitor order backlogs, pending orders, fulfilment performance and inventory availability, implementing corrective actions where required. • Ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining alignment between physical stock and ERP records, with all inventory movements accurately recorded. • Supervise, coach and develop a team of 30–35 warehouse employees, ensuring productivity, accountability and adherence to operational standards. • Develop and continuously improve warehouse processes related to receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping and returns. • Manage reverse logistics, including customer returns, marketplace returns and store returns, ensuring timely processing and inventory reconciliation. • Ensure accurate warehouse documentation, shipment records and inventory reports are maintained. • Maintain warehouse security, housekeeping, health and safety standards, and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. • Coordinate preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment and company vehicles. Requirements • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar warehouse management role. • Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution processes. • Proven experience managing retail store distribution and strong knowledge of locations across UAE. • Extensive experience managing high volume e-commerce and marketplace fulfilment operations, including Amazon, Noon and other online sales platforms. • Experience managing import and export shipments, including familiarity with customs regulations. • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 30 employees. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365. • Excellent leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple fulfilment priorities while meeting strict delivery deadlines. • Ability to work flexible or extended hours when required. • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are mandatory.
