Role Description The Solar Site Engineer, Site Supervisor,Foreman,Land Surveyor,HSE at Benchmark Drilling LLC is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. This position is responsible for overseeing the engineering, installation, and commissioning of solar projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site assessments, reviewing structural and civil designs, coordinating with project managers and construction teams, and monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets. The Solar Site Engineer will prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and support troubleshooting and optimization of solar systems in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves stakeholder communication, adherence to local regulations, and continuous improvement of site processes and performance. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong on-site project execution skills, including field supervision and practical problem-solving in construction or solar installations. • Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients. • Candidates should possess quality control and assurance skills to inspect works, verify compliance with standards, and maintain accurate documentation. • Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to mounting structures, foundations, and site layouts for solar projects. • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in solar PV design and installation. • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, commitment to safety, and capacity to work in outdoor site environments under varying conditions.
