Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost planning, estimation, commercial controls, and contractual matters across construction and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will support effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring financial control and compliance with project requirements.Key Responsibilities • Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs). • Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flows, and expenditure against approved allocations. • Review tender documents, evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations, and prepare tender comparisons. • Manage variations, claims, interim payment applications, and final accounts. • Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. • Conduct quantity take-offs and assess construction drawings and specifications. • Prepare periodic cost reports and commercial progress updates for project management. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders. • Identify potential cost risks and recommend appropriate cost-control measures. • Maintain accurate records of commercial correspondence, valuations, and contractual documentation. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or commercial management. • Experience in PMC, consultancy, hospitality, or large-scale construction projects is preferred. • Strong knowledge of cost planning, BOQs, tendering, variations, claims, and contract administration. • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international construction standards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying or cost management software. • Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. •
