Project Manager – Technology Transformation | Financial Services

About the Opportunity We are supporting a leading international financial services organisation in Bahrain that is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys leading technology transformation, managing complex projects and working with senior stakeholders across regional markets. You will play a key role in delivering technology initiatives, driving business change and ensuring projects deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end technology projects, from planning and execution through implementation and successful delivery. • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources and deliverables using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies. • Drive IT change management, SDLC, release management and project governance. • Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors and regional stakeholders. • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and compliance requirements. • Support digital transformation, process improvement and business change initiatives. • Prepare project reports, dashboards and updates for senior management. • Ensure projects meet quality, security and regulatory standards. What We're Looking For • Minimum 7 years of experience in technology project management. • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within cards, payments or banking. • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid project delivery. • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent certification is required. • Experience in IT governance, SDLC, change management and regulatory compliance. • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Celoxis, ITSM or similar platforms. • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills. • Experience managing vendors, budgets and cross-functional teams. • Exposure to AI-enabled project management tools and automation is an advantage.
