Head IT Applications

Job Summary: The job holder shall be responsible to develop and implement the policies and procedures for the Applications Section and to operate, maintain the databases of the various applications and protect them from tampering and unauthorized access. Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Implement the policies and procedures for the Applications Section. 2. Prepare a plan for developing digital applications and services and following up on their implementation in coordination with the concerned authorities. 3. Study and understand the requirements and needs of the business and suggest the necessary applications to complete them. 4. Prepare application deployment plans and following up on their implementation. 5. Train users on applications and provide them with the necessary support. 6. Document all programs and systems used to maintain and update the structuring of applications in line with the institutional structure. 7. Prepare and program applications in accordance with the requirements and needs of departments. 8. Document, study and analyse work requirements and procedures related to the required digital services. 9. Prepare all technical designs and plans at various levels. 10. Review and approve application design outputs in line with the organization's structuring and application architecture. 11. Control and audit all procedures followed in analysing, documenting and implementing applications. 12. Prepare application testing plans and follow up on their implementation. 13. Perform all kinds of tests for functional and technical applications. 14. Train the stakeholders on quality procedures and tests for applications. 15. Analyse and design the databases in line with the institutional structure and the requirements of technical systems and programs. 16. Manage, operate and maintain all databases related to various applications. 17. Install new components or upgrading and updating databases according to the manufacturer's recommendations. 18. Monitors follow up and adjust the level of performance of all databases for various applications. 19. Supervise the implementation of all the processes of linking the databases of the various applications with the external databases. 20. Maintain the confidentiality of the databases of the various applications and protect them from tampering and unauthorized access. 21. Manage smart systems, information investigation, reports and operations, including implementation and maintenance. 22. Perform other duties as requested to meet the ongoing organizational needs. Essential Education: Bachelor’s degrees in computer sciences/IT related field. Essential Certifications: To have training programs and Certification in the same field as Oracle, SAP etc Essential Experience: Based on the HR Law, the grade is determined based on the minimum required experience and qualifications.

Maintain confidentiality and protect databases from tampering and unauthorized access.
