Purchasing Officer

Company: AlThnaya Regional Work Location: Durrat Al Arous, Jeddah Job Description Dallah Albaraka Holding is seeking a qualified Purchasing Officer to join its subsidiary, AlThnaya Regional. The role is responsible for purchasing and providing required goods and materials in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards. This includes processing purchase orders, identifying and evaluating vendors, obtaining quotations, and following up on deliveries to support business operations. Key Responsibilities • Follow relevant procurement policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure consistent and efficient operations. • Carry out day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure continuity of work. • Provide purchasing support to departments to meet their operational requirements. • Identify suitable vendors and suppliers to ensure materials are purchased within the required budget and timeframe. • Request quotations from vendors and support supplier selection processes. • Issue purchase orders after obtaining three quotations from different vendors, considering price, quality, and delivery timelines. • Monitor vendor compliance with contractual requirements to maintain quality standards. • Monitor market trends and gather relevant information to support purchasing decisions. • Participate in procurement proposals by sending Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to vendors. Qualifications & Experience • Diploma in Administration. • 0–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement. Required Skills • Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures and procurement processes. • Good communication and professional correspondence skills. • Basic knowledge of vendor coordination, quotations, and purchase orders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills. • Basic English language proficiency. • Good organizational, follow-up, and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
