Senior Database Administrator

Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline • Minimum five (5) years of hands-on production database administration experience • Oracle Database 19c administration — installation, configuration, patching with OPatch, and at least one completed major version upgrade • Hands-on administration of physical Oracle RAC clusters and ASM, including Grid Infrastructure, clusterware administration and diagnosis of cluster-level faults. Experience must be on physical clusters, and virtualized or single-node configurations • Oracle Data Guard physical standby — configuration, gap resolution, and personal execution of at least one switchover or failover in production • Expert-level RMAN backup and recovery, with real recovery operations actually performed • Microsoft SQL Server — installation and patching, backup and restore, Always On availability groups or equivalent, and security administration • PostgreSQL — installation, streaming replication, backup and point-in-time recovery, and vacuum management • Database performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASH and execution plan analysis • Linux administration proficiency and shell scripting; SQL and PL/SQL • Database security — hardening, privileged access control, auditing and encryption • At least one current, verifiable professional database certification at administrator level or above • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English • Availability for planned out-of-hours and weekend maintenance windows • Oracle E-Business Suite Apps DBA experience — ADOP online patching on dual filesystem, AutoConfig, AD utilities, Rapid Clone and Concurrent Manager administration (Plus).
