Role Description The Store Cashier is responsible for handling point-of-sale transactions, processing payments accurately, issuing receipts, and managing cash, card, and digital payments in accordance with company procedures. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, answering basic product and pricing questions, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and assisting with bagging and packaging purchases. The role also involves reconciling cash drawers, reporting discrepancies, and supporting inventory checks and price labeling when needed. This is a contract position based in Abu Dhabi in a hybrid arrangement, where the primary duties are performed on-site in the store, with some administrative or reporting tasks that may be completed from home as required. Qualifications • Strong numeracy and cash-handling abilities, with attention to detail in processing payments and reconciling daily sales. • Customer service skills, including clear communication, courteous interaction, and the ability to handle inquiries and resolve basic issues. • Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for billing, inventory checks, and reporting. • Ability to stand for extended periods, manage busy checkout lines, and maintain accuracy under pressure. • Previous retail or cashier experience in home appliances or consumer goods is an advantage. • Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude toward working with store staff and management. • Basic English communication is required; Arabic language skills are beneficial for engaging local customers.
