Enterprise Systems Architect

Role Description The Enterprise Systems Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the overall architecture of enterprise systems that support the group’s public relations and media activities. This part-time remote role includes analyzing business and technical requirements, defining system architecture frameworks, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with stakeholders to translate communication and operational needs into scalable technical solutions, guiding systems design, and providing technical leadership to development and integration efforts. The role also includes evaluating new technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems, and establishing best practices and standards for system performance, security, and interoperability. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong skills in System Architecture and Systems Design to develop robust, scalable enterprise solutions. • Candidates should possess solid Systems Engineering and Integration skills to ensure seamless interoperability between platforms and services. • Candidates should possess practical Software Development skills to support implementation, prototyping, and technical validation of architectural decisions. • Candidates should ideally have experience with cloud-based architectures, APIs, and security best practices in enterprise environments. • Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. • Experience working remotely, managing multiple priorities in a part-time capacity, and familiarity with public sector or media environments is beneficial.
