DLP Consultant/Lead (Data Loss Prevention)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite) Contract: Initial 6-12 month contract, extendable • Must be willing to work onsite and under a contract/independent contractor setup • Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 15 days' notice preferred Available Role/s: • DLP Consultant • DLP Lead We are hiring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) professionals across both Consultant and Lead levels to support a large-scale enterprise cybersecurity program. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on expertise in DLP administration, incident management, data protection, and governance within regulated environments. Key Responsibilities • Manage and investigate DLP incidents across endpoint, email, network, and data-at-rest channels • Configure, implement, and optimize DLP policies and controls • Monitor data protection alerts and recommend remediation actions • Support compliance, regulatory, and data governance initiatives • Conduct DLP tuning, reporting, and operational improvements • Collaborate with business, security, and technology teams to enhance data protection capabilities • Support DLP infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and platform enhancements DLP Consultant Requirements • 3-6 years of Cyber Security experience • Minimum 3 years of hands-on DLP administration and incident handling experience • Strong experience with Symantec DLP across Endpoint, Email, Network, and Data-at-Rest • Experience investigating and resolving DLP incidents • Strong understanding of data protection principles and security best practices DLP Lead Requirements • 7-10 years of Cyber Security experience • Proven experience leading DLP programs, projects, or teams • Strong expertise in DLP governance, policy management, and operational oversight • Experience managing DLP infrastructure upgrades and platform enhancements • Experience within banking, financial services, or regulated industries is highly preferred • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities Preferred Certifications • CISA • CISSP • CISM • Equivalent industry-recognized Cyber Security certifications
