Accountant

We’re Hiring: Accountant | Full-Time – Dubai, UAE Jalsa Design, a luxury multi-brand furniture showroom in Dubai, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to independently manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance. • Handle accounts payable and receivable, supplier payments, client invoicing, and collections. • Prepare bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and monthly financial reports. • Monitor expenses, purchase orders, inventory transactions, and stock reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax regulations, and accounting standards. • Process payroll and support financial audits with accurate documentation. • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining financial accuracy. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and accounting practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take full responsibility for daily accounting operations. • Mandatory languages: Fluent English and Arabic OR fluent English and Hindi. • Must hold a valid UAE driving licence and own a car. • Immediate joining is mandatory. Candidates serving a notice period will not be considered. • Experience in furniture, retail, or trading businesses is an advantage.
