Product Quality - Engineer

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for renewable energy projects. • Ensure the quality of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, cables, switchgear, BESS equipment, and other project materials. • Review technical specifications, drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and method statements. • Conduct incoming material inspections, supplier quality assessments, factory inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues. • Monitor manufacturing processes and verify compliance with approved specifications, applicable codes, and standards. • Identify, document, and resolve non-conformities (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and perform root cause analysis. • Conduct supplier audits, quality inspections, and product performance assessments. • Verify material test certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable IEC, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards. • Monitor product defects, failure trends, reliability issues, and supplier performance, and recommend improvement measures. • Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and project quality documentation. • Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities by ensuring that quality requirements are fulfilled. • Promote continuous improvement, risk prevention, and quality awareness across project teams.
