Job role - Senior Manager - Product - Buying Sourcing Job Location – Dubai - Jafza One We are seeking a Product Owner with deep retail business platform expertise to own the Buying & Sourcing domain of the Category Management Platform — end to end, from discovery to delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Own the full product lifecycle — discovery, PRD, story writing, sprint planning, delivery, UAT, and rollout — with full accountability for outcomes • Lead and engage a small, skilled, independent engineering team; set direction, remove blockers, and create conditions for fast delivery without hand-holding • Work directly with buying and sourcing business teams across concepts to capture workflows and design platform-first solutions • Apply advanced AI skills across the SDLC — discovery mocks, PRD and spec generation, test case design, and engineering acceleration • Champion process standardization across concepts; challenge per-concept customization that creates technical debt • Maintain clear understanding of system integrations: MUST-HAVE: • Product Experience in retail business platform experience — internal operational tools, ERP-adjacent workflows, or commerce infrastructure • Hands-on AI skills across the full SDLC — not just familiarity; demonstrated use in discovery, spec generation, prototyping, test design, and engineering acceleration • Ability to independently lead a small, skilled engineering team — sets direction, manages pace, drives delivery without day-to-day oversight STRONGLY PREFERRED: • Buying & sourcing domain knowledge — understands the end-to-end cycle PROFILE EXPECTATIONS: • Owns outcomes, not tasks — drives from blank-page to shipped capability without needing to be managed • Drives clarity in ambiguity; does not wait for perfect information • Standardization bias — advocates for platform-first, scalable workflows across brands • Clear, confident communicator — runs workshops, stakeholder reviews, and leadership updates independently Show more Show less
