Job Description ACQUIRED COMPETENCIES BASED ON JOB ROLE Core Functional • Business Acumen: Understand NFP business environment and objectives. Interpret and apply internal policies and procedures. Intermediate Level • Data Analysis & Reporting: Communicate and deliver information in a business context both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner. Intermediate Level • Communication: Monitor, collect and interpret a range of raw data from various sources, evaluate/analyze results and create reports to assist decision-making process in various aspects of work at NAPCO. Intermediate Level • Language: Knowledge of, and the ability to use National and Foreign languages both spoken and written. Intermediate Level • Planning & Organizing: Organize and plan work/project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short & long term objectives. Intermediate Level • Technological Ability: Understand and effectively use standard equipment and office automation systems and software. Intermediate Level Technical Functional • Condition Monitoring: Observe the state of the asset and determine its status based on indicators, and real-time condition data to prioritize and optimize NAPCO’s maintenance resources in order to minimize cost and asset downtime while maintaining asset efficiency. Intermediate Level • Lean Manufacturing Principles: Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles: Just In Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, PDCA and other related tools. Intermediate Level • Machine Operation: Operate all steps and activities for a required production machine according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other instructions if applicable. Expert Level • Maintenance Practice: Knowledge in the variety of machinery, spare parts, tools, and other items used in NAPCO’s maintenance practices. Basic Level • Manufacturing Knowledge: Knowledge in the use of NAPCO’s machines, tools and labor to manufacture NAPCOs products, and in the general process of transforming raw materials into finished goods. Intermediate Level • Occupational Health and Safety: Apply local, regional, and international occupational health & safety policies, regulations, and the standards and procedures set forth by NAPCO. Understand and interpret legal requirements, regulations, and internal procedures, to protect humans, property and prevent Market losses. Intermediate Level • Production Competitiveness: Develop new products as well as create, execute, and upgrade design solutions to improve the aesthetics, ergonomics, usability, marketability, and production of NAPCO’s products. Basic Level • Production Effectiveness: Develop, implement and enhance the processes, tools, and training that enable NAPCO to respond quickly to customer needs and market changes while still controlling output, quality and cost. Intermediate Level • Production Efficiency: Generate the required output with the least required resources. Intermediate Level • Production Scheduling: Effectively schedule production activities in order to minimize production time and cost and maximize operational efficiency. Advanced Level • Quality Assurance: Systematically monitor and evaluate the entire manufacturing process at NAPCO in order to ensure that standards of quality are being attained and for driving engineering and manufacturing process improvements. Intermediate Level • Quality Control: Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress and finished products, using simple to complex lab equipment, against performance and standard limits and according to engineering/procedural standards in order to uncover and address deviations. Intermediate Level • Sustainability: Improve the sustainability of NAPCO’s process in alignment with NAPCO’s environmental responsibility and environmental and recycling regulations.
