📡 We’re Hiring: Wireless Systems Architect | 5G Network Specialist 🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time 💼 Level: Mid-Level to Senior We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Wireless Systems Architect | 5G Network Specialist to design, develop, optimize, and implement advanced wireless communication systems and next-generation mobile network solutions. This role combines wireless network architecture, 5G technology, radio access network (RAN) engineering, network performance optimization, and end-to-end connectivity design to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance wireless services for enterprise, telecommunications, and industrial environments. 🎯 Key Responsibilities • Design end-to-end wireless system architectures to support 4G LTE, 5G NR, and evolving next-generation network technologies. • Develop wireless network strategies, technical roadmaps, and architecture standards aligned with business and operational requirements. • Design and optimize radio access network (RAN) architectures, including macro cells, small cells, distributed antenna systems, and indoor coverage solutions. • Evaluate 5G deployment models, including standalone (SA), non-standalone (NSA), and private 5G networks. • Define network topology, capacity requirements, coverage objectives, and performance targets for wireless infrastructure. • Conduct radio frequency (RF) planning, propagation analysis, link-budget calculations, and coverage simulations. • Analyze spectrum allocation, channel bandwidth, antenna configurations, and interference-management strategies. • Develop network designs that support enhanced mobile broadband, ultra-reliable low-latency communications, and massive machine-type communications. • Assess massive MIMO, beamforming, carrier aggregation, and other advanced wireless technologies. • Support the integration of 5G core networks, RAN infrastructure, transport networks, and enterprise connectivity platforms. • Evaluate Open RAN (O-RAN), cloud-native network functions, virtualization, and software-defined networking architectures where applicable. • Define interfaces, protocols, and integration requirements across radio units, distributed units, centralized units, and core network components. • Optimize network performance through analysis of throughput, latency, packet loss, handover success, and signal quality. • Conduct drive-test analysis, field measurements, and network benchmarking to identify coverage and performance issues. • Troubleshoot RF interference, dropped calls, mobility failures, congestion, and connectivity degradation. • Develop solutions for network densification, capacity expansion, and improved indoor and outdoor coverage. • Collaborate with telecommunications operators, equipment vendors, system integrators, and enterprise stakeholders. • Establish technical specifications, architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines. • Assess network security, authentication mechanisms, access controls, and resilience requirements for wireless systems. • Support private 5G deployments for smart manufacturing, logistics, industrial automation, campuses, and Internet of Things applications. • Evaluate the integration of wireless networks with edge computing, cloud platforms, and IoT ecosystems. • Conduct feasibility studies, technology assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed wireless solutions. • Develop testing strategies and acceptance criteria for network rollout, interoperability, and service performance. • Monitor emerging developments in 5G Advanced, 6G research, spectrum technologies, and wireless standards. • Support proof-of-concept initiatives, laboratory testing, pilot deployments, and production rollouts. • Coordinate with project managers to manage implementation schedules, technical risks, and delivery milestones. • Review vendor proposals, technical designs, and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with architecture requirements. • Establish network monitoring, performance reporting, and continuous optimization practices. • Ensure wireless system designs comply with applicable telecommunications regulations and industry standards. • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to wireless engineering teams. ✅ Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a related field. • Proven experience in wireless systems engineering, mobile network architecture, 5G deployment, or telecommunications infrastructure. • Strong understanding of 4G LTE, 5G NR, RAN architecture, and mobile network principles. • Knowledge of 5G core architecture, including relevant control-plane and user-plane functions. • Familiarity with 3GPP specifications and wireless telecommunications standards. • Experience with RF planning, propagation modeling, coverage analysis, and link-budget calculations. • Understanding of massive MIMO, beamforming, carrier aggregation, modulation, and antenna technologies. • Knowledge of spectrum management, frequency planning, interference mitigation, and radio resource management. • Experience with network planning and optimization tools such as Atoll, Planet, TEMS, Nemo, or equivalent platforms. • Familiarity with network simulation, protocol analysis, and performance monitoring tools. • Understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, QoS, and transport-network integration. • Knowledge of cloud-native network functions, network virtualization, and software-defined networking is advantageous. • Familiarity with Open RAN architecture and interoperability requirements is beneficial. • Experience designing private 5G networks or enterprise wireless connectivity solutions is preferred. • Understanding of network slicing, edge computing, and industrial IoT connectivity is advantageous. • Knowledge of wireless network security, encryption, authentication, and access-control mechanisms. • Ability to interpret technical specifications, network diagrams, RF reports, and performance datasets. • Experience with network testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance procedures. • Familiarity with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar tools is beneficial. • Strong analytical, architectural design, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and develop scalable network
