Legal Counsel

Job Title: Legal Counsel Location: Dubai (On-site) Position Overview: We are seeking Legal Counsel to support our real estate development operations, with a focus on off-plan residential and mixed-use projects, property sales, corporate matters, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and negotiate off-plan Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), reservation forms, addendums, and other buyer documentation. • Handle legal matters related to real estate development projects, including project structuring, approvals, and documentation. • Ensure compliance with Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA, and other relevant regulatory requirements. • Advise management on legal risks, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. • Support escrow account setup and administration in accordance with applicable regulations. • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, including consultant, contractor, supplier, and service provider contracts. • Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants, banks, and government authorities. • Support dispute resolution, pre-litigation assessments, and coordination with external lawyers. • Assist with corporate governance, internal policies, and compliance procedures. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification. • Minimum 3 years of UAE experience within a real estate development company. • Strong knowledge of off-plan property sales, DLD/RERA regulations, escrow requirements, and UAE real estate law. • Solid understanding of corporate and commercial law in the context of real estate development. • Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. • Fluency in English is required.
