MEP Maintenance Technician (HVAC & Electrical)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical installations, and basic mechanical and plumbing assets to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous facility operations. Key Responsibilities • HVAC Maintenance: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems, including split units, packaged units, air handling units (AHUs), and exhaust fans, to maintain effective cooling and airflow. • Electrical Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building electrical systems, distribution boards, lighting circuits, wiring, and MEP control panels. • Plumbing and Mechanical Maintenance: Perform basic repairs and maintenance on water supply networks, drainage systems, and building water pumps. • Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance programs for MEP assets to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment service life. • Troubleshooting and Emergency Response: Respond promptly to on-site breakdowns, using MEP drawings and diagnostic tools to identify faults and restore operation. • Documentation and Safety: Maintain accurate service records, submit technical reports, and follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during all maintenance activities. Requirements and Qualifications • Education: Diploma or vocational training certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Facilities Maintenance. • Experience: At least four years of hands-on MEP maintenance experience in commercial or residential facilities, with a strong focus on HVAC and electrical systems. • Technical Drawings: Ability to read and interpret MEP shop drawings and schematics. • Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency in using electrical multimeters and HVAC diagnostic and refrigeration tools. • Driving License: A valid driving license is an added advantage. • Language Skills: Good working knowledge of Arabic and basic knowledge of English technical terminology.
