Corporate Finance Business Partner - 6 Months Contract • Function: Corporate Finance • Reports to: Head of Corporate Finance or Finance leadership (to be confirmed) • Business areas supported: Corporate, HR, IT, Facilities, Corporate Relations and Internal Audit • Key systems: SAP, SAC, Concur, Power BI Job Type : Contract 6 Months duration • Purpose of the Role The Corporate Finance Business Partner is the trusted finance partner to the Corporate Functions. The role leads budgeting, forecasting and performance management, and provides commercial and financial insight that supports sound decisions. It owns OPEX governance, validates CAPEX investment cases, leads the monthly financial close for Corporate Functions and oversees expense and vendor payment compliance. The role balances cost efficiency with operational effectiveness, keeps strong internal controls and audit readiness in place, and uses ERP and digital tools to improve reporting quality and automation. • Qualifications and Experience These requirements are suggested to match the role and should be confirmed against the employer's requirements. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field. • A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA, or an MBA in Finance, is preferred. • Around 8 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting and business partnering for support or corporate functions. • Proven experience leading monthly financial close, accruals and allocations. • Experience reviewing CAPEX business cases using NPV, ROI and payback analysis. • Working knowledge of expense management, accounts payable processes and internal controls. • Hands-on experience with SAP, SAC, Concur and Power BI, or equivalent ERP, planning and reporting tools. • Core Job Roles • Planning and Performance Manager: Leads budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and management reporting. • Business Partner and Decision Supporter: Advises Corporate Functions, evaluates proposals and tenders, and challenges assumptions with data-driven analysis. • Cost Governance Owner: Owns OPEX governance, spend control and compliance with policies and delegations of authority. • Investment Reviewer: Reviews and validates CAPEX business cases and tracks approved investments through to post-implementation performance. • Financial Close and Controls Lead: Leads the monthly close, maintains internal controls and keeps the function audit-ready. • Expense and Vendor Payment Overseer: Oversees employee expense validation and vendor payment compliance. • Systems and Process Improvement Lead: Drives automation and process improvement across budgeting, forecasting, expense management and reporting.
