As a Barista, you’re not just preparing and serving drinks – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day: • - Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. • Follow Waldorf Astoria operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, security and health and safety to ensure the safety of self, customers and colleagues at all times. • Presents oneself professionally to ensure adherence to health and safety rules and quality operations standards. • To rotate stock, ensuring food and beverage products are used prior to the best before date and that wastage is minimised • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for over all satisfaction. • Ensure knowledge of menu and all products • Must have a full knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relation and etiquette • Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. • Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs, through crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. • Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check. • Check stations before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. • Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues • Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner • Monitor the quality food and beverage being served on the table. • Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, Our Core Values Define What It Takes To Succeed Here And Guide The Qualities We Look For In Every Team Member A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
