If interested send me your CV to [email protected] Job Title: Operations Specialist Engineer(Power System Operations) Location: Kuwait Duration: 12+ Month extn Role Purpose Provide specialist engineering support for day-to-day and forward-looking power-system operational issues, ensuring network operating arrangements remain secure, practical and aligned with planned maintenance and system development. Key Responsibilities • Assess electrical-network operational issues across 400 kV, 275 kV, 132 kV, 33 kV and 11 kV systems and develop practical solutions. • Support analysis of critical loads, abnormal operating conditions and network risks affecting continuity and reliability of supply. • Review network outage requirements and maintenance programmes and assess operational impacts during low-load and critical periods. • Support system balancing studies following sudden loss of generation capacity or electrical load. • Contribute to seasonal operating studies and the development/update of network operating guidelines, rules and operating arrangements. • Provide operational input to substation connection, network modification, generation and renewable-energy studies. • Coordinate technical inputs across relevant operational, planning and generation stakeholders and document recommendations. Candidate Profile • Hands-on experience in transmission/distribution system operations, control-centre engineering or operational studies. • Strong understanding of switching/outage impacts, real-time system constraints and operating security. • Experience working across multi-voltage utility networks is highly desirable. • Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
