Senior Software Engineer

GISCON is looking for an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team in Kuwait and play a key role in delivering innovative, scalable, and secure solutions for government technology and digital transformation initiatives across the region. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain web applications for Digital Transformation projects. • Implement frontend and backend features according to technical and functional requirements. • Develop and integrate REST APIs and database services. • Integrate applications with existing systems and external services. • Fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure application quality and security. • Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and technical support. • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 5-10 years of experience in software development. • Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js. • Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and Git. • Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and debugging. • Experience with government, enterprise, GIS, or digital transformation projects is an advantage. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
