Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Chartered Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and periodic reporting in line with UAE regulatory requirements. The role involves managing VAT computations and filings, supporting tax advisory engagements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local laws. The Chartered Accountant will participate in internal and external audits, perform financial analysis to support business setup and financing decisions, and prepare documentation for banks and financial institutions. The role also includes working closely with consultants and clients to explain financial implications of business structures, improve financial processes, and contribute to accurate, timely information for decision-making. Qualifications • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, with strong knowledge of IFRS and local UAE regulations. • Proficiency in core accounting and bookkeeping, including ledger management, financial statements preparation, and month-end closing. • Experience in taxation and VAT, including computations, filings, and advisory support for corporate and SME clients. • Background in auditing and compliance, including participation in internal and external audits and preparation of audit-ready documentation. • Ability to conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business setup, banking, and financing decisions. • Comfort with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools. • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. • Prior experience in consultancy, business setup, or financial services in the UAE is highly beneficial.
