🚀 Your Next Product Adventure Starts in Oman About the Role Are you excited by the opportunity to build digital products that make everyday financial services simpler, safer, and more accessible? As our Product Owner for Oman, you’ll have the freedom and responsibility to turn local customer needs and market opportunities into meaningful digital financial experiences. You’ll be the go-to person for Product and Technology initiatives in Oman, connecting local insight with the strength of our central teams. Working across Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Customer Care, Commercial, and Marketing, you’ll guide ideas from business case to launch and beyond. You’ll engage with regulators and partners, shape go-to-market plans, improve customer journeys, and see the direct impact of your decisions on customers and business growth. You’ll join an ambitious regional fintech business with the scale to make a difference. Ooredoo FinTech, part of the Ooredoo Group and headquartered in Doha, is growing its mobile-wallet footprint across the MENA region. Our mobile-money services are already live in Qatar, Oman, Tunisia, and the Maldives under the Ooredoo Money, walletii, and M-Faissa brands, with further expansion planned across Iraq, Kuwait, and Algeria. 🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On Product Ownership & Strategy • Take ownership of Oman’s product journey—from discovering opportunities and building the business case to launching, measuring, and continuously improving products with the central Product team. • Bring your market knowledge to the table and help decide what comes next, balancing company strategy, customer value, and commercial opportunity. • Create a focused roadmap with clear quarterly priorities, giving teams a shared view of what success looks like. Customer Experience & Market Insight • Champion an app experience customers enjoy using by removing friction, simplifying onboarding, strengthening self-service, and reducing avoidable support needs. • Stay curious about the market—follow customer behavior, competitors, emerging trends, and new opportunities, then turn what you learn into product improvements and growth ideas. • Get close to real users by joining commercial teams, promoters, and dealers in the market to gather feedback, test assumptions, and validate new features. • Make the customer’s voice heard by sharing practical insights with central Product and Technology teams and influencing priorities. Operations & Regulatory Readiness • Work side by side with Operations to uncover inefficiencies and turn them into scalable product and process improvements. • Help the Oman business grow with confidence by ensuring teams, processes, and controls are ready for every new product, feature, and launch. • Partner with the local Compliance team to translate regulatory expectations into clear product requirements and secure the right approvals. Data, Performance & Commercial Growth • Let data guide your choices—from deciding what to build next to understanding whether a launch delivered the value you expected. • Connect product performance with commercial impact by tracking the Oman budget, customer behavior, conversion, and operational indicators. • Open new routes to market by identifying partnerships that can accelerate delivery and create greater value for customers. Cross-Functional Delivery • Be the trusted link between the Oman market and central Product and Technology teams, bringing clarity and momentum to every initiative. • Turn local needs into actionable requirements and unite Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Care around solutions designed for Oman. • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, align priorities, manage expectations, and create shared ownership of results. Marketing & Go-to-Market • Bring products to life with local and central Marketing teams through thoughtful campaign planning, positioning, and launch execution. • Make sure customers receive a clear, consistent promise by aligning acquisition activity, messaging, and real product capabilities. • Lead go-to-market thinking with energy and commercial focus, helping new products earn attention, adoption, and lasting value. 🧙 You’ll Thrive in This Role If You... Experience & Market Knowledge • Know Oman’s financial-services landscape and understand what customers, regulators, and commercial teams need—ideally through experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated environment. • Have owned or managed digital products, preferably in fintech, payments, digital financial services, or telecommunications. • Can connect market dynamics, customer needs, regulatory expectations, user experience, and technology trends to make sound product choices. • Bring relevant fintech experience and a practical track record of solving product challenges and improving customer outcomes. Product & Delivery Capabilities • Put users first and enjoy turning complex challenges into simple, elegant, and workable solutions. • Like being close to the work—from discovery and prioritization to delivery, launch, learning, and improvement. • Use data, customer feedback, and market insight with confidence, while knowing when sound judgment is needed. • Communicate clearly, collaborate generously, and bring people together across distributed teams in a fast-moving, agile environment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Personal Profile • You’re a collaborative team player who builds trust and positive working relationships. • You combine commercial instinct with creativity, design thinking, and a data-driven mindset. • You’re comfortable exploring market data, product performance, and user feedback to find the story behind the numbers. • You take ownership, enjoy solving problems, and can move confidently across multiple functions and priorities. • A technical background or strong technical understanding will help you make an even greater impact. Why Join Us? 🚀 At Ooredoo FinTech, you won’t simply manage a roadmap—you’ll help define how digital financial services evolve in Oman. You’ll have the opportunity to: • Own a market-defining journey — take ideas from insight to launch, scale, and continuous improvement, with the autonomy to make a real difference. • See your impact up close — connect your roadmap and decisions directly to customer experience, commercial growth, and market success in Oman. • Learn from every corner of the business — collaborate with talented local and central teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Commercial, and Marketing. • Stay connected to customers
