Manager, FP&A Business Partnering Job Purpose Lead a team of FP&A Business Partners supporting assigned Business Units (BUs). Deliver commercial support, monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and decision-making support. Drive the automation and standardization of recurring reporting and the adoption of AI and analytics tools to improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of financial insights. Main Responsibilities Policies & Procedures • Recommend enhancements to departmental policies and support the implementation of procedures and controls across the business partnering team. • Ensure FP&A business partnering activities comply with Group financial governance, reporting standards, and internal controls. Business Partnering & Commercial Support • Act as the primary finance business partner for assigned Business Units, building strong relationships with Finance Directors and key stakeholders. • Support the review and validation of BU strategies by identifying risks, opportunities, and key issues, and providing data-driven recommendations. • Lead and manage a team of FP&A Business Partners, ensuring high-quality and consistent support across business units. • Provide commercial support on pricing strategies, proposals, margin analysis, and contract economics. • Support the development of annual business plans and monitor performance against strategic and financial objectives. • Develop and refine KPIs to measure business and financial performance. • Conduct market and competitor analysis to generate strategic insights. • Analyze cost structures and lead profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives. • Support the FP&A team during peak workloads and key projects, including temporary deployment to business unit sites when required. Monthly Management Reporting • Oversee monthly reporting submissions from assigned BUs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality of commentary. • Maintain reporting scorecards covering quality, timeliness, and compliance metrics. • Prepare consolidated performance reports and variance analyses for senior leadership review. • Ensure consistent application of reporting templates and update them to reflect organizational changes. Budgeting & Forecasting • Coordinate the annual budgeting process in line with Group guidelines and timelines. • Prepare budget support packs incorporating macroeconomic trends, industry analysis, benchmarks, and planning assumptions. • Review budget submissions for accuracy, credibility, and strategic alignment. • Maintain rolling forecasts and provide explanations for variances against budgets and prior forecasts. Decision Support • Provide financial and operational decision-making support to business unit finance teams. • Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses for investments and commercial opportunities. • Identify cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency opportunities. • Support cash flow optimization, working capital management, and liquidity improvement initiatives. Reporting Automation & Process Improvement • Lead the automation and standardization of management reporting through AI and digital tools. • Manage the implementation of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions and finance transformation initiatives. • Evaluate and pilot AI and advanced analytics tools to improve reporting, commentary generation, variance analysis, and routine financial processes. • Build team capability in AI and analytics tools, including prompt engineering, validation, and quality assurance. • Document automated processes and maintain audit trails and version control standards. • Monitor emerging technology trends to support innovation and future-readiness. Financial Dashboards • Review and maintain historical financial dashboards and key analytical reports for assigned BUs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Ad-Hoc Engagements & Strategic Projects • Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership teams across CSUs and BUs. • Support the preparation of Board, ExCom, and leadership presentations. • Maintain and enhance the Group Finance & Investment knowledge repository and knowledge-sharing platforms. Team Leadership & Development • Lead, coach, and develop FP&A Business Partners. • Set performance objectives and monitor achievement. • Identify and recommend training opportunities across technical, commercial, digital, and AI capabilities. • Support the development of FP&A KPIs and performance management frameworks. Client Services • Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure service alignment. • Identify and implement improvements to enhance service quality and stakeholder experience. Quality Assurance • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance Framework through compliance with applicable requirements. Other Responsibilities • Perform additional duties and project assignments as required. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required); ACCA, CA, CMA, or CPA (Required); 7–10 years of relevant FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Corporate Finance experience (Required); English and Arabic languages.
