Mechanical Procurement Engineer

📢 JOB VACANCY | Mechanical Procurement Engineer Company: SANEEL Contracting Company SANEEL Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer – Procurement to join its Procurement Department and support purchasing and supply operations for the company’s projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, commercial requirements, approved budgets, and project schedules. • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs), technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical materials and equipment. • Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and obtain competitive offers from suppliers. • Prepare technical and commercial bid comparisons and evaluate supplier quotations in coordination with the relevant technical teams. • Negotiate prices, payment terms, supply conditions, and delivery schedules with suppliers. • Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), follow up on approvals, and ensure compliance with company procedures. • Monitor deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and internal departments. • Identify, prequalify, and evaluate suppliers of mechanical materials and equipment, and maintain an updated supplier database. • Monitor procurement costs, adhere to approved budgets, and achieve the best value in terms of cost and quality. • QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within contracting companies or engineering projects. • Experience procuring mechanical materials, equipment, spare parts, and related services. • Ability to interpret mechanical technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs and analyze supplier quotations. • Good knowledge of procurement procedures, supply operations, and supplier management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. • Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills. • Good command of English for technical and commercial correspondence. • HOW TO APPLY Please send your CV and mention “Mechanical Procurement Engineer” in the email subject line. 📧 Email: [email protected] 📱 WhatsApp: 0567612256 Show more Show less
