Role Description This full-time, on-site Crane Operator role is based in Mangaf and involves operating cranes and related heavy equipment to support lifting operations on industrial and construction sites. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely maneuvering cranes, rigging loads, and following lift plans according to project and safety requirements. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-operation inspections, monitoring equipment performance, and reporting any issues or hazards. The role also involves coordinating with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to execute lifts efficiently, maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant safety regulations, and completing required operational documentation and logs. Qualifications • Experience with lifting operations and cranes, including safe load handling and adherence to lift plans. • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and lifting equipment appropriate to industrial and construction environments. • Ability to perform thorough inspection of cranes and lifting equipment to identify and report defects or maintenance needs. • Understanding of relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices for crane and lifting operations. • Valid crane operator certification or license, in accordance with local regulatory requirements. • Demonstrated ability to read and follow technical documents such as load charts, site plans, and safety procedures. • Strong situational awareness, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse site teams. • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including working outdoors and in varying conditions. • Prior experience in industrial, construction, or oil and gas environments is beneficial.
