BOQ Assistant

Role Summary We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost management, procurement and commercial activities for a large-scale international football tournament in Saudi Arabia. The role will support the preparation and tracking of project costs, quantities, budgets and supplier documentation across tournament-related projects and venues. About the project: a high-profile, international football tournament Contract: 4 to 5 months duration Key Responsibilities • Support the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs and pricing documents • Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs • Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and payment certifications • Assist with procurement activities, including RFQs, tender documentation and bid evaluations. • Monitor project expenditure and report on cost variances to stakeholders • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve disputes • Review and verify subcontractor invoices and progress claims • Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and procurement procedures Required Qualifications • Saudi National Experience Requirement • At least 2 years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost management roles • Experience in large-scale events, venues, construction projects or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage • Basic understanding of BOQs, cost estimation, measurements, procurement and commercial documentation • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar) Location / Work Mode Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — On-site Show more Show less
