About the Role The Events & Catering Sales Manager will play an important role in developing the resort’s events business and strengthening its presence within the UAE’s luxury hospitality market. With a focus on corporate events, MICE, weddings, and social celebrations, you will bring a strong commercial perspective, an established network, and a genuine appreciation for creating exceptional experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to the resort’s evolving identity, build meaningful client partnerships, and help establish Al Zorah as a destination of choice for distinctive events and celebrations. Key Responsibilities • Develop and grow the resort’s events and catering businesses across corporate, MICE, weddings and social segments. • Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales activities, networking, and market engagement. • Build lasting relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding specialists, DMCs and key industry partners. • Manage client enquiries, proposals, site inspections and contract negotiations to secure profitable business. • Develop tailored event proposals that reflect client expectations, the resort’s positioning and commercial objectives. • Achieve individual sales targets while maximizing event revenue, average spend and repeat business. • Work closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage and Events Operations to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution. • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, account records, and business forecasts. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to strengthen the resort’s competitive positioning. • Contribute to commercial planning, promotional initiatives and preparations for the resort’s future opening. Qualifications & Experience • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Events, Catering or MICE Sales within luxury hospitality. • Proven success in developing new business and achieving revenue targets. • Established relationships within the UAE corporate, events or wedding markets. • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of event profitability. • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Experience managing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to contract confirmation. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities. • Proficiency in hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office. • Fluency in English is required. Arabic, Russian or other languages are an advantage. • Previous experience with an international luxury hotel brand is preferred.
