Accountant

Company: One Life International LLC Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Employment Type: Full-Time About One Life International LLC One Life International LLC is a medical facilitation company based in Muscat, Oman, connecting patients with leading hospitals and healthcare providers for advanced medical treatment. We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and organized Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations and support the company's financial administration. Job Description The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting transactions, monitoring payments and expenses, and ensuring proper financial documentation and reporting. Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents. • Record daily income, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions. • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and expense reports. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on pending collections. • Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and company accounts. • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management statements. • Maintain proper documentation for employee salaries, petty cash, and office expenses. • Ensure all payments and fund releases are supported by the required approvals. • Coordinate with management and other departments regarding budgets, expenses, and financial matters. • Assist with VAT documentation, tax-related records, and audit preparation in accordance with applicable Oman regulations. • Maintain confidentiality of company financial information and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Previous experience in accounting or a similar role is preferred. • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation. • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. • High level of accuracy, honesty, integrity, and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management and colleagues. • Knowledge of VAT and accounting procedures in Oman will be an advantage.
