Business Development Consultant — AI & Software Solutions

About Orpitek Orpitek is a UAE-based technology company specializing in AI-powered business solutions, intelligent data systems, and custom software development. We help businesses solve complex challenges through AI, automation, enterprise applications, and systems integration. Our team brings over 20 years of software engineering experience, including delivering complex solutions for international clients in the US healthcare sector. We are expanding into the GCC market and looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant to help us establish relationships, identify opportunities, and acquire new clients. The Role You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC markets. Your key responsibilities will include: • Identifying and approaching potential B2B clients and decision-makers. • Building relationships with business leaders, CEOs, CTOs, and CIOs. • Discovering opportunities for AI, automation, and custom software solutions. • Generating qualified leads through professional networks, direct outreach, and industry connections. • Leading initial client discussions and coordinating technical meetings with our engineering team. • Supporting proposals, negotiations, and closing new business. • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities. What We're Looking For • Proven experience in B2B business development or sales of IT services, custom software, or technology consulting. • Experience selling complex, customized solutions rather than only standard software products. • Good understanding of AI applications, enterprise software, and digital transformation. • Established business connections in the UAE or Saudi Arabia are a strong advantage. • Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and identify business opportunities. • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills. Arabic is a plus. • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented approach. We value practical experience, business relationships, and a proven ability to develop opportunities more than formal qualifications. What We Offer • Flexible, part-time or independent consulting collaboration. • Remote work with a focus on GCC markets. • Fixed retainer plus performance-based commission, with terms agreed individually. • Direct collaboration with company leadership and an experienced engineering team. • Technical support, solution demonstrations, and assistance with proposals. • Freedom to develop opportunities across multiple industries. • Potential for a long-term partnership as our business grows. The engagement structure will depend on the candidate's professional status and applicable legal requirements. How to Apply Please share your LinkedIn profile or CV, along with a brief introduction covering your experience in B2B technology sales, the GCC markets you know best, and examples of projects or clients you have successfully developed. We are particularly interested in professionals who already have strong business relationships in the region and know how to turn those connections into real opportunities.
