Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee and coordinate civil works on construction sites, ensuring designs are accurately implemented, quality standards are met, and work complies with local regulations and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include monitoring site activities, reviewing drawings and technical documents, coordinating with contractors and other consultants, and reporting progress and issues to project management. The role involves inspecting civil infrastructure works (such as grading, utilities, and stormwater systems), resolving technical challenges, and supporting planning and scheduling to keep projects on time and within budget. The Site Civil Engineer will also contribute to health, safety, and environmental compliance, and assist in documentation, site reports, and communication with stakeholders. Qualifications • Strong civil engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant codes and standards. • Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers on construction sites, coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals and contractors. • Planning and site coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring for civil works. • Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, installation, and inspection in urban developments. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional membership or registration is an advantage. • Previous on-site experience in building or infrastructure projects, ideally within the UAE or GCC region. • Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and strong technical drawing interpretation skills. • Solid understanding of local building regulations, authority requirements, and health and safety practices. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to document site activities and prepare clear reports. • Ability to work full time on site, manage Show more Show less
