Security Operations Center Analyst

Key Responsibilities • Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect potential threats and anomalies. • Analyze security incidents, logs, and events to identify root causes and assess the scope of impact. • Execute incident response procedures for identified security breaches, including containment and remediation. • Conduct initial threat detection and analysis using various security tools and techniques, including malware and packet analysis. • Perform vulnerability assessments on network devices and endpoints to identify potential weaknesses. • Contribute to security awareness initiatives by identifying trends and potential user-related vulnerabilities. • Collaborate effectively with senior security analysts and other IT teams to resolve security incidents. Required Qualifications Experience • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar cybersecurity role. Skills • Proficiency in network monitoring, log analysis, and SIEM platforms. • Demonstrated experience in incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability assessment. • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and malware analysis techniques. • Strong understanding of packet analysis and security best practices. • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong communication skills. Certifications • CompTIA Security+ • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Manadatory Qualifications • Fluency in Arabic is required • Experience with a wide range of SIEM and security monitoring tools.
