Senior Account Executive

About UNLOCKLAND UNLOCKLAND builds AI-powered tools that help real estate and built-environment professionals find and evaluate development opportunities. We bring together spatial data, planning information and AI-assisted analysis to support better-informed development decisions. We are looking for an Account Executive based in Riyadh to build our commercial presence across the GCC, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. The Role You will own the sales cycle—from identifying target accounts and opening conversations to running discovery, shaping proposals, negotiating and closing business. Our customers work on complex real estate and development decisions. You should be comfortable understanding their workflows, engaging senior stakeholders and working with our product team to demonstrate measurable business value. This is a hands-on role in an early-stage company. You will work directly with the founders and help establish a repeatable approach to winning customers in the region. What You Will Do • Build and execute account plans across Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. • Proactively win new customers through outbound prospecting, referrals, industry relationships and events. • Engage real estate developers, landowners, investors, master developers, consultants and relevant government or semi-government entities. • Run discovery meetings to understand customer workflows, decision criteria, budgets and procurement processes. • Deliver product demonstrations with support from the product and technical teams. • Structure paid pilots and proofs of concept with clear scope, success criteria, timelines and a path to a commercial contract. • Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and manage opportunities through procurement, contracting and payment. • Build relationships with decision-makers, technical evaluators and internal champions. • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts and next steps. • Bring customer feedback and market insights into product positioning, pricing and go-to-market decisions. What We Are Looking For • A track record of winning new business in B2B technology, enterprise software, PropTech, engineering solutions or related professional services. • Experience personally owning sales opportunities from prospecting through negotiation and close. • Relevant commercial experience in Saudi Arabia, with familiarity with Qatar and/or the UAE. • Native-level Arabic and professional fluency in English, including presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations. • An understanding of real estate development, land, planning, construction or infrastructure workflows. • Confidence navigating multi-stakeholder sales and enterprise procurement. • The ability to sell an emerging product, identify a practical starting use case and build customer confidence. • Strong follow-through, commercial judgment and disciplined pipeline management. • Based in Riyadh, or willing to relocate, and available for customer meetings and travel across the target markets. Especially Relevant Experience • Selling to developers, real estate investment groups, engineering consultancies or public-sector organisations. • Commercialising GIS, BIM, planning, development feasibility, data analytics or AI solutions. • Converting paid pilots into ongoing contracts. • Building a new territory or working directly with founders in an early-stage company. What Success Looks Like • You build a qualified pipeline, secure customer champions, close paid engagements and convert successful pilots into lasting commercial relationships. You also help us understand which customer problems, buying processes and sales approaches can scale across the region. Show more Show less
