Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates for a Civil Engineer and Sales Representative. The role involves assessing client project requirements, reviewing drawings and specifications, and proposing suitable furnishing and installation solutions aligned with civil and interior standards. The person in this role will prepare quotations, technical proposals, and cost estimates, and collaborate with project and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, conducting site visits, providing product demonstrations, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of projects and sales activities, monitoring market trends, and supporting continuous improvement of service quality and product offerings. Qualifications • Applied engineering skills in civil engineering, including understanding of building structures, finishes, and installation requirements for carpets, rugs, furniture, and textiles. • Sales and customer relationship skills, such as lead generation, client consultation, negotiation, and closing deals in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. • Project coordination abilities, including site assessment, scheduling, coordination with installation teams, and monitoring progress to meet quality and safety standards. • Analytical and planning skills, including preparing cost estimates, quotations, technical proposals, and evaluating project feasibility. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to clients and internal teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; experience in interiors, fit-out, or furnishing projects is highly beneficial. • Proficiency with basic engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar tools, MS Office) and comfort working with multilingual, multicultural teams. • Ability to work on-site, conduct regular client visits within the UAE, and manage multiple projects and sales opportunities simultaneously.
