Role Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to contribute to the planning, design, and development of architectural projects across different stages of the design and delivery process. This role combines creative vision, technical knowledge, and practical problem-solving to develop spaces that are functional, visually appealing, sustainable, and aligned with project requirements. The successful candidate will help translate project briefs, client objectives, and design concepts into architectural plans, drawings, and coordinated design solutions. Responsibilities include preparing design proposals, developing floor plans and elevations, reviewing building layouts, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring that design decisions reflect functional needs, aesthetic considerations, and applicable building requirements. The role involves coordinating with clients, engineers, interior designers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure that architectural concepts are clearly communicated and properly integrated with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical requirements. The Architect may participate in design meetings, present concepts, review feedback, and revise drawings to address project needs, technical constraints, and client expectations. Additional responsibilities include preparing architectural documentation, reviewing construction drawings, evaluating materials and finishes, and supporting the preparation of project specifications. The position may also involve visiting project sites, reviewing construction progress, identifying discrepancies between approved drawings and actual conditions, and coordinating necessary design clarifications with relevant teams. Sustainability, building functionality, accessibility, safety, and efficient space utilization are important considerations throughout the design process. The successful candidate will assess different design options, consider environmental and operational factors, and contribute to solutions that balance creativity, practicality, quality, and cost awareness. The role also requires maintaining organized project documentation, managing design revisions, and ensuring that drawings and deliverables are accurate and consistent. By combining architectural creativity with technical precision and effective collaboration, the Architect will contribute to the successful development of well-planned, practical, and visually cohesive built environments. Qualifications • A degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture or a related design discipline is preferred. • Understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, building layouts, construction methods, and technical documentation. • Ability to interpret project briefs and translate requirements into practical architectural concepts and design solutions. • Familiarity with architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, material specifications, and construction documentation. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Archicad, or other architectural design tools is an advantage. • Knowledge of building regulations, accessibility considerations, construction standards, and sustainable design principles. • Strong visual awareness, creativity, spatial reasoning, and attention to detail. • Ability to coordinate design information with engineering, construction, and other project disciplines. • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts and explain technical decisions. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage design revisions and project documentation. • A practical approach to problem-solving, material selection, design coordination, and technical challenges. • Professional integrity, adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to design quality, functionality, and continuous improvement. • Show more Show less
