Buyer - Civil and Structural

CCL Global is seeking for a Buyer with Civils / Structural experience Or MEI buyer to be based on site north of Madinah, Saudi Arabia for an immediate requirement with Transferable Iqama Purpose / Role • Responsible for procurement of civil, structural, architectural and building material packages associated with project execution. Key aims and objectives • Procure assigned packages to schedule and budget while maintaining competitive procurement and complete records. Prime responsibilities and duties • Review approved material requisitions • Prepare RFQs • Obtain quotations • Perform commercial evaluations • Prepare bid summaries • Support negotiations • Prepare purchase orders • Manage amendments • Update registers • Maintain correspondence • Identify procurement risks • Support reporting • Liaise with contractors Procurement governance responsibilities • Ensure compliance with Procurement Governance Standard, segregation of duties, approvals and audit requirements • Delegation of authority responsibilities • Ensure procurement actions comply with approved authority limits and approval requirements. • Procurement risk management duties • Identify, monitor and report procurement risks and mitigation actions. • KPI ownership • Procurement cycle times, reporting compliance, delivery performance and procurement quality measures. Core competencies • Construction materials procurement, commercial analysis, supplier management and EPC project experience. Education and experience requirements • Degree or Diploma and 7+ years procurement experience in construction projects. • Behavioural competencies aligned with the company • Integrity, accountability, teamwork, communication, customer focus and continuous improvement. Key internal interfaces • General Manager, Project Manager, Commercial, Finance, Engineering and Construction Contractor.
