Lead Implementation Manager About Yomly Yomly is a Dubai-based HR and payroll automation SaaS provider serving organisations across the GCC and beyond. We help customers turn agreed requirements into a working service: confident platform adoption, reliable payroll and a clear handover into ongoing support. The opportunity We are looking for a senior, hands-on implementation leader to personally deliver high-value customer projects, guide our delivery team and strengthen how Yomly manages implementations. You will lead projects from discovery and agreed scope through go-live and early stabilisation, bringing discipline to planning, portfolio visibility and customer communication. You will work with a team of six delivery colleagues and a Training Consultant. Professional Services is a separate engineering and customisation function: Engineering owns technical feasibility, estimates and what gets built; you own the customer plan, scope and delivery outcome. Your primary contribution is trusted hands-on delivery. You will normally own one or two substantial implementations at a time, delegating defined activities while retaining ownership of decisions, progress and customer outcomes. What you’ll do Lead major customer implementations • Turn customer needs and sales commitments into clear scope, exclusions, responsibilities, milestones and acceptance criteria. • Build workable plans covering configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training, cutover and stabilisation. • Run customer workshops and delivery meetings; resolve ambiguity and address difficult conversations directly. • Manage scope changes, effort and delivery forecasts as customer readiness or dependencies change. Manage delivery constraints • Identify gaps between customer expectations and supported product capability during scoping. • Work with Sales, Product and Professional Services to agree a supported approach, workaround, scope change or escalation. • Validate technical feasibility and development commitments before incorporating them into a customer plan. • Contribute delivery judgement to higher-risk opportunities before signature and improve sales-to-implementation handovers. • Keep paused projects under active review, with clear owners and restart conditions. Improve delivery across the portfolio • Maintain an accurate view of active implementations, including ownership, milestones, confidence, effort, risks, blockers and decisions required. • Lead short delivery reviews focused on exceptions, workload and actions. • Establish practical, lightweight delivery practices: reusable plans, scope records, readiness checks and handover criteria. • Work across Sales, Product, Engineering, Support and Customer Success to resolve recurring delivery issues. Lead and develop the team • Allocate work according to capability and capacity. • Review plans and customer updates, provide feedback and coach colleagues through live delivery situations. • Manage routine team coordination, including leave, cover planning, recruitment and performance management, partnering with leadership and HR where needed. Deliver stable go-lives and handovers • Confirm customer readiness, testing, training and support arrangements before recommending go-live, including Engineering sign-off on technical readiness. • Coordinate payroll validation and reconciliation with relevant specialists and customer owners. • Own early stabilisation and complete implementation handover with Customer Success and Service Desk. • Capture lessons that improve adoption and reduce repeat issues. What you bring • A strong recent track record of personally delivering enterprise software or SaaS implementations. • Experience managing unclear scope, demanding stakeholders and changing dependencies. • Strong discovery, planning, risk management and scope-control skills. • Confidence directing work across customers and internal specialists, challenging assumptions and securing decisions. • Practical understanding of configuration, data migration, integrations, testing and go-live readiness. • Experience coaching less-experienced Project or Implementation Managers while remaining comfortable in the detail yourself. • Clear written and verbal communication. • HR, payroll, ERP or other business-critical systems experience is highly useful. GCC delivery experience is a plus. How you work You will thrive here if you: • move quickly from problem to action; • are comfortable operating hands-on in the detail; • balance structure with pace in a startup environment; and • build trust across teams while holding people accountable for outcomes. This is not a pure people-management role. We need someone who enjoys owning difficult customer delivery and can operate independently in a hybrid, high-accountability environment. What success looks like • Major implementations have clear scope, credible plans and evidence-based go-live readiness. • Portfolio reporting is reliable, with risks surfaced early and assigned clear actions. • The delivery team produces stronger plans, customer communication and delivery decisions. • Scope and effort variances are visible and addressed, with more stable handovers into customer operations.
